During the Ceremony we will try to capture all the key moments. It must be borne in mind however that the photographers movements and ability to capture the ceremony itself are often restricted by the official in charge. As a rough rule of thumb, and in our experience registrars at civil partnerships allow all of the ceremony to be captured. Ceremony coverage of Weddings held in Churched depends upon the Priest or Vicar who is marrying you. Some will allow all of the ceremony to be captured and actively encourage and guide the photographer to specific locations in the Church for the best views. Some will not allow any of the ceremony to be captured, so coverage must stop when the Bride reaches the end of the aisle and can begin again at the signing of the registers.
The walk down the aisle, the first glance the groom makes of the bride, the ring exchange, the first kiss. All moments that can be treasured when we photograph the ceremony.
The register signing is usually photographed with a blank register page after you have actually signed. As well as the Bride and Groom there is usually opportunity to photograph your witnesses, parents and other members of the family as a group posed shot when the register signing is photographed as long as the officiant in charge allows enough time for this.
