We’ve all seen the small setups in Mothercare or Woolworths for baby portraits. But what if you want to pop along to somewhere local for a full family portrait?

Well we’ll be holding our first Family Portrait day on 16th August 2008 at Caerphilly Leisure Centre.

Our guests can either pop along and join the queue or call us in advance to book a time slot.

We’re doing this on a no obligation basis. Come along, have the portrait taken, we’ll arrange a viewing of them with you and then you decide if you want to buy or not. There’s no minimum order, no sitting fee and no fuss!

I know everyone prepares loads, sometimes years for their wedding day.

The Digital Photography Show has taken me through from amateur to Professional status.

Aimed squarely at the enthusiast the podcast by Scott Sherman and Michael Stein has given plenty of great advice since episode number 1.

The style is easy going and light hearted. It’s a great break from the “business” side of photography when you want to get back to or remember that it was the photography and the creation of excellent images that got you into this!

I’d recommend it for amateurs and pro’s alike.

The purpose of this Blog is to share the growth of Richard Hobson Photography, our ideas, our vision, our likes and dislikes.

Our business is Professional Photography. We cover Wedding, Corporate, Stock, Portrait, Babies, Children, Food, Product and Events.

The business is me - Richard Hobson with unpaid help from my Wife, Parents in Law, two young boys, two cats and a Dog. (Seriously the Dog does help - she’s modelled for us. The cats have yet to really help)
